Imperial College London PhD of Mineral Engineering study

Applications will be processed in both local and foreign students. Rio Tinto PhD student, offered an excellent background for students of engineering, physics or applied mathematics. For more information or registration, contact Dr Stephen Neethling (s.neethling @ imperial.ac.uk). Student Time covers all tuition fees and providing tax-free scholarship of approximately £ 15,590 per annum for the period 2010/2011. AC / C + + programming skills are essential and it is highly desirable that applicants have a background fluid dynamics. The main shortcoming is that it continues to suffer from a lower extraction efficiency than competing methods. PostDoc in EMPA Carbon Nanotube based Composites (Switzerland)

EMPA is an interdisciplinary research and service organization in materials science and technological development in the ETH domain. The work will focus on the development of nano-particles modified fiber reinforced polymer composite by modifying the system of nano-particles, especially carbon nanotubes (CNT). The Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering seeks to strengthen the development of composite materials and provides a

Postdoc position in carbon nanotube composites based. The project, led by the candidate is to improve the resin dominated properties of fiber composites, such as ILS, tenacity and resilience. The work includes aspects such as the functionalization of charges, problems with processing and characterization of nano-macro scale. The position is immediately available and the anticipated project duration of three years.
