Yeah I know Indonesia also still a developing country, Indonesia is a country of heterogeneity, most crowded city over there is Jakarta as a capital city and some other high populated areas also don’t forget with the pure and natural islands close the country border. Beautiful, crowded, heterogeneous, interesting, Indonesia has many interesting places for abroad students.

Do you know Indonesia has unique geographic area situated in Southeastern Asia crossed by the Equator between the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean it’s divided in 17,508 small islands and some big islands, some nothing more than tiny coral rock, some islands bigger than California or Spain and it’s still tropical jungle on them. Actually 6,000 of these islands are inhabited also nobody owns them, with five main islands and 30 smaller archipelagos bring the population all they need. The most crowded island is in 2nd longest island from east to west named Java, yeah Java is the most densely populated areas.

How about the people? From the 7th through 14th centuries, Indonesia’s early history was dominated by some big kingdoms on the islands of Sumatra and Java. Hinduism and Buddhism were very influential during that time until the collapse of those kingdoms and Arab, Gujarat trader introduce Islam after it. Islam is the majority religion today, it makes Indonesia the most populous Muslim-majority country in the world.

The Dutch arrived in the 17th century and it’s brought European influence to the islands of Indonesia, they colonize the country until 20th century. Second World War happened in 1945 and Asia also influenced and the start of true independence for Indonesia. With democracy, Indonesia independence proclaimed on August 17 of that same year. Since 1998, the political journey has moving faster and faster, and nowadays, Susilo Bambang Yudoyono is the President. The president elected in 2004 by the first direct presidential election in Indonesia.
